Role of KTV Hostess Girls
The role of the hostess girl is to accompany the customer to sing, dance, eat, drink, play various games, and have conversation and interaction inside the KTV. Just as with any date, the customer’s interaction and relationship with the hostess girl may progress to further stages inside or outside of the KTV, depending on the chemistry between the customer and the hostess girl. This is a private matter between the customer and hostess without the KTV’s involvement.
KTV Hostess Girl Selection System
(1) Line-Up System
The KTV manager will bring hostess girls to customers’ rooms in batches where they will stand in line for customers to choose.
(2) Deep Sea System
The customer enters a waiting room filled with hostess girls and can walk around freely to select a hostess girl.
Both systems operate on a first come first serve basis. Therefore, if you want to have the best selection, it is highly recommended to arrive at the KTV early.
Tips for choosing the right KTV hostess
- Know what qualities you prioritize in the hostess. You should communicate your requirements to the manager in advance, who will help recommend you a hostess that matches your requirements.
- Use the selection time to ask the hostess questions to assess their suitability.
- Turn on the lights brightly and sit close to the hostesses so you can see them more clearly.
- After selecting a hostess, you can change the hostess for free if you do not like them, within the buffer time (you should confirm the buffer time with the manager).
- You can temporarily select up to a few hostesses at one go before making a final decision after the buffer time is up. You should use this buffer time to assess whether the hostess meets your requirements.
- Dress and groom well so that hostesses will have a good first impression of you. If the hostess likes you, you are likely to have better chemistry and interactions. To assess if the hostess likes you, look at their reaction when you are selecting them. If they like you, they will smile at you, wave at you, and make eye contact with you. If they look at the floor or are expressionless, then it is a sign that they do not like you and you may want to avoid choosing them.
